Dunia Imejaa Ghururi

Hakika dunia imejaa ghururi, basi yasikudanganyeni maisha ya dunia wala asikudanganyeni yule mdanganyi mkubwa (Ibilisi) katika (mambo ya) Mwenyezi Mungu. Dunia itupeni mbali kama vile Mwenyezi Mungu Alivyotutaka na itafuteni akhera yenu, kwani Mwenyezi Mungu Ameipigia mfano dunia[1].
"Na wapigie mfano wa maisha ya dunia ni kama maji tunayoyateremsha kutoka mawinguni; kisha huchanganyika nayo mimea ya ardhi kisha ikawa majani makavu yaliyokatikakatika ambayo upepo huyarusha huku na huko. Na Mwenyezi Mungu Ana uweza juu ya kila kitu.
"Mali na watoto ni pambo la maisha ya dunia. Na vitendo vizuri vibakiavyo ndivyo bora mbele ya Mola wako kwa malipo na tumaini bora (kuliko hayo mali na watoto)". Al Kahf - 45 – 46
Nakuusieni waja wa Allaah kumuogopa Allaah, kwani Taqwa ni jambo bora la kunasihiana baina ya waja wa Allaah, na ndiyo amali Anayoridhika nayo Mwenyezi Mungu kutoka kwa waja wake.
Mumeamrishwa kumcha Mungu na kwa ajili ya wema mumeumbwa, kwa hivyo ogopeni yale Allaah Aliyokutahadharisheni nayo, kwa sababu Amekutahadharisheni na adhabu kali kabisa.
Muogopeni Mwenyezi Mungu kuogopa kwa kweli na tendeni matendo yenu bila ya kujionesha kwa watu wala kutaka sifa au umaarufu, kwani mwenye kufanya amali yoyote ile kwa ajili ya kujipendekeza kwa mwengine asiyekuwa Allaah, basi Mwenyezi Mungu Humsukumiza nazo amali zake kwa huyo aliyemfanyia amali hiyo.
Ogopeni adhabu ya Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa sababu Hajakuumbeni kwa upuuzi, na wala Hakuacha chochote kiende ovyo. Keshataja athari zenu na Keshajua siri zenu na kuzihesabu amali zenu na kuziandika ajali zenu. Kwa hivyo dunia isikubabaisheni kwani inawaghururisha watu wake, na ameghurika yule atakayebabaishwa nayo.
Na jueni ya kuwa Akhera ndiyo makazi ya milele.[2]

10 Ways of Protection from Shaytan:

Imam Ibn ul Qayyim

Seeking refuge with Allah from Shaytan. Allah the Most High said, “And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” [41:36]

Recitation of the two soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas, as they have wondrous effect in seeking refuge with Allah from evil, weakening Shaytan and protection from him. This is why the Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said: “No person seeks refuge with anything like the Mu`awwidhatayn (soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas)”. [an-Nasaa’i, 5337]

Recitation of Ayat al-Kursi (2:255).

Recitation of soorah al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “The house in which al-Baqarah is recited is not approached by Shaytan.” [Muslim]

The final part of al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “Whoever recites the two last verses of al-Baqarah at night they will suffice him.” [Muslim]

Recitation of the beginning of soorah Mu’min (Ghafir), until His saying, “wa ilayhi-l-maseer” (to Him is the destination). (i.e. “Ha. Meem. The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Knowing, the forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination.” [40:1-2])

Saying “la ilaha ill Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir” (there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, He has no partner, His is the Dominion and Praise, and He is able to do all things) a hundred times.

The most beneficial form of protection from Shaytan: abundance of remembrance of Allah, the Exalted.
