قال تعالى: { وَمَا آَتَاكُمُ الرَّسُولُ فَخُذُوهُ وَمَا نَهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَانْتَهُوا ﮨ} [الحشر: 7 ].

Kufuata matamanio ya nafsi zao na kuacha Sunna Sahihi za Bwana Mtume
(Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam). Amesema mwanachuoni Muqaatil Ibn Hayan:
‘Watu wa matamanio ni maangamivu kwa umati Muhammad hali ya kuwa
wanamtaja Mtume (Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam) na jamaa zake wakitaka
kuwavutia kwa utajo huu mzuri, watu wasiojua chochote katika Dini na
kuwatia katika maangamivu, na hao wamefanana zaidi na wanaotia sumu
katika asali’.
2. Kufuata baba zetu bila ya uongofu. Mola (Subhaanahu wa Taala) Amesema pale Nabii Ibrahim alipowaambia watu wake:
قال تعالى : {قَالُوا نَعْبُدُ أَصْنَامًا فَنَظَلُّ لَهَا عَاكِفِينَ ﮡ قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ ﮧ {قَالَ هَلْ يَسْمَعُونَكُمْ إِذْ تَدْعُونَ ﮬ قَالُوا بَلْ وَجَدْنَا آَبَاءَنَا كَذَلِكَ يَفْعَلُونَ ﯔ) [الشعراء:74:71]
{{ Je mnaabudu nini? Wakasema
tunaabudu masanamu na hatuachi kulazimiana nayo, akasema : Je
wanawasikia mnapowaomba au wanawanufaisha au wanawadhuru, wakasema:
Tumewapata baba zetu wakifanya hivyo}}.
3. Kufuata maneno ya wanavyuoni yanayokwenda kinyume na mafunzo mazuri na sahihi ya Uislamu.
Madhara ya Uzushi
Enyi waja wa Mwenyezi Mungu uzushi una madhara mengi ambayo yatakiwa tuyajue. Na katika madhara hayo ni:-
1) Uzushi huangamiza dini sahihi huku ukichukua nafasi ya Sunna. Mtume (Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam) amesema: [Hawatazua watu uzushi isipokuwa ataondoa Mwenyezi Mungu kwao Sunna mfano wake].

Ufisadi wa uzushi ni kujiepusha mtu na Sunna na akawa mtu hataki
kuzifanya sunna akawa na bidii kutekeleza uzushi, na kumbe anapoteza
nguvu zake na pia wakati wa huku akiaona kuwa Dini ni pungufu akitaka
kuikamilisha dini na uzushi wake.
3) Uzushi unarejesha watu katika
jahiliya kwa kuwafanya watengane wawe mbali mbali, kila kikundi
kinafurahia msimamo wake. Mola (Subhaanahu wa Taala) amesema:
قال الله تعالى : {كُلُّ حِزْبٍ بِمَا لَدَيْهِمْ فَرِحُونَﰅ} [الروم: 32 ]
{{ Kila kikundi kinafurahia msimamo wake}}. Kwani Sunna inafanya watu kuwa kitu kimoja. Mola Asema:
قال تعالى : {وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا} [آل عمران: 103 ]
{{ Shikamaneni na Dini ya Mwenyezi Mungu wala msifarakane}}.
4)
Uzushi unasababisha kuikataa haki anapolinganiwa mzushi katika Sunna
hakubali na natija yake huendelea kushikamana na uzushi wake.
5)
Uzushi unaharibu Dini sahihi ya Mwenyezi Mungu, kwani uzushi ndio
silaha kubwa ya kuharibu Dini ya Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwani wengi katika
wazushi hutaka maslahi ya kidunia katika ulinganizi wao.

Waislamu ! Maswahaba walikuwa wakiwatahadharisha watu na uzushi katika
Dini. Ilimfikia Ibn Mas’uud kuwa ‘Amru ibn ‘Utba ambaye ni katika
wafuasi wake amejenga Msikiti mjini Kuufa akaamrisha Ibn Mas’uud uvunjwe
Msikiti ule, kisha akasikia sasa wanajikusanya nje ya Msikiti huo
wakileta nyiradi na adhkaar na takbira maalum kinyume na mafunzo mazuri
ya bwana Mtume (Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam). Alifunga safari Ibn
Mas’uud akawajia wao hali ya kuwa amejifunika uso wake ili wasimjue,
kisha akakaa nao wakaanza kuleta adhkaar zao, kisha akafungua uso wake,
kisha akawauliza mumekuwa wajuzi wa dini zaidi kuliko maswahaba wa
Mtume (Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam), Kisha akawaonya watu hao na
uzushi, na hapo hapo watu waliomba msamaha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu kwa uzushi
wao waliokuwa wakiufanya. Enyi mliomuamini Mwenyezi Mungu na Mtume !
Muogopeni Allah (Subhaanahu wa Taala), na mujue ya kwamba yaliyothibiti
kutoka kwa Mtume (Swalla Llahu ‘alayhi wasallam) yanamtosha Muislamu
katika maisha yake wala asijishughulishe na chochote cha uzushi. Na
wausia mshikamane na Sunna kisawasawa.
Mwisho kabisa tunamuomba Mwenyezi Mungu atujaalie ni miongoni mwa mwenye kushikamana na Sunna na kijiepusha na uzushi na atuongoze katika Dini Yake ya sawa.

10 Ways of Protection from Shaytan:
Imam Ibn ul Qayyim
Seeking refuge with Allah from Shaytan. Allah the Most High said, “And if there comes to you from Satan an evil suggestion, then seek refuge in Allah. Indeed, He is the Hearing, the Knowing.” [41:36]
Recitation of the two soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas, as they have wondrous effect in seeking refuge with Allah from evil, weakening Shaytan and protection from him. This is why the Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said: “No person seeks refuge with anything like the Mu`awwidhatayn (soorahs al-Falaq and an-Nas)”. [an-Nasaa’i, 5337]
Recitation of Ayat al-Kursi (2:255).
Recitation of soorah al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “The house in which al-Baqarah is recited is not approached by Shaytan.” [Muslim]
The final part of al-Baqarah. The Messenger, sallallahu `alayhi wa sallam, said, “Whoever recites the two last verses of al-Baqarah at night they will suffice him.” [Muslim]
Recitation of the beginning of soorah Mu’min (Ghafir), until His saying, “wa ilayhi-l-maseer” (to Him is the destination). (i.e. “Ha. Meem. The revelation of the Book is from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Knowing, the forgiver of sin, acceptor of repentance, severe in punishment, owner of abundance. There is no deity except Him; to Him is the destination.” [40:1-2])
Saying “la ilaha ill Allah wahdahu la sharika lah, lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu wa huwa `ala kulli shay’in qadir” (there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, He has no partner, His is the Dominion and Praise, and He is able to do all things) a hundred times.
The most beneficial form of protection from Shaytan: abundance of remembrance of Allah, the Exalted.
